How the 9jaforum Bank wallet works

The wallet is an account feature that records value for supported 9jatalk transactions. A member can request to add funds through Paystack checkout, see wallet activity, tip another member and use eligible funds in supported marketplace or SafeDeal flows. The balance shown is a platform ledger entry. It is not a bank deposit, does not earn interest and should not be treated as an independently insured bank balance.

Your wallet balance and earnings belong to you; 9jatalk and 9jaforum claim no ownership of them. Paystack processes card payments directly. 9jatalk does not receive your full card number, CVV, PIN or bank password and cannot log in to your bank account. The service does maintain the wallet ledger and transaction records, and it reviews withdrawal requests before payout. That means it would be inaccurate to promise that the platform has zero access to or control over the wallet process. Paystack handles payment processing and supported transfers, while the site records balances, tips, escrow holds and withdrawal requests.

You can request withdrawal of an available balance when you choose, subject to the stated minimum, supported bank details, any displayed fee and the required review. The current flow sets a minimum request of 100 naira and says an administrator reviews the request before payout through Paystack Transfers. A request is not the same as an instant transfer. Check the status and destination, and contact support with the transaction reference if something looks wrong. Escrow amounts remain restricted until released, refunded or resolved under the displayed process.

Never send support or another member a card number, CVV, PIN, password or one-time code. Keep your account secure, review every payment confirmation and retain the transaction reference. Escrow amounts can remain restricted until the transaction is released, refunded or resolved under the displayed process.
