Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2026

This policy describes how 9jatalk handles information when you use the community. Depending on the feature, information may include your username, email address, password hash, optional profile details, posts, replies, direct messages, reports and transaction records. The service may also process technical logs such as IP address, browser or device information and session data to operate the site, maintain security, prevent abuse and troubleshoot failures.

We use account information to provide requested features, display profiles and conversations, deliver service notifications, respond to support requests, protect members and meet legal obligations. Information is shared with service providers only as needed to host the site, deliver email, process payments or support security, and may be disclosed where legally required or necessary to protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information as a business practice. Public posts and profile fields you choose to publish may be visible to other visitors.

Paystack handles card payment details in its payment flow. 9jatalk receives transaction references and status information needed to record payments and support account activity. Do not send card numbers, security codes, bank passwords, PINs or one-time codes to us. The wallet ledger and transaction history may retain payment-related records even though the platform does not need your full card credentials.

You may ask us to correct or delete account information by emailing Ola@9jaforum.com. Some records may need to be retained for security, financial reconciliation or legal obligations. Content already copied, quoted or shared by other members may not be fully removable. We use session technologies needed for sign-in and site operation. Protect your password and sign out on shared devices.
